This fits just like a back pack and the straps are adjustable, October 6, 2015

My kids and I are always on the go, we usually are always packing water bottles, and when they get tired of packing them, I end up packing them all. So here comes the hydration pack that has made my life heavenly! This fits just like a back pack and the straps are adjustable, My son who is 11 was able to carry this on his back comfortably. The Bladder is very sturdy and holds quite a bit of water 70 ounces to be exact. The straw portion took some getting used to. you have to squeeze a little for water to come out. However nothing major and its just something to get used to. Even with the bladder full this pack was still easy to carry on my back versus packing water bottles. I had no issues with filling the bladder it had a screw top lid that was large and easy to fill. If you screw the lid tight and the straw are all properly installed I had no issues with water leakage. I have no complaints with this hydration pack and give it 2 thumbs up.

As far as the durability of the bag it is a great heavy material, there are mesh on the straps for comfort and the buckles across the chest are nice heavy duty buckles. The bladder is a very thick plastic/rubber type of material. I do not think this bladder is cheaply made and I honestly dont think it would be easy to poke any holes in it. I feel all materials are of very high quality and I feel this hydration pack will last a while!

I like the fact that its fda approved, October 7, 2015

I received this hydration pack and was very excited to try it out, I really bought this for my daughter who will be running in the New York Marathon. I like the fact that its fda approved. Its also very light the last thing you need is to be weighed down when running. I tried it out by walking a long walk it was great when I was thirsty. I will be back to update after the marathon because that will be a real test. It never leaked and it held a lot of water. 2 liter to be exact. I would recommend this to anyone running or hiking or anything that you need to keep hydrated for. !0/9/2015 update: I am sorry to say that she can not wear this for the marathon because of the bombings at the Boston Marathon.Police are not allowing anyone to have liquid. (per my daughter)

I received this product for a discounted rate for my honest and unbiased review. My opinions are my own and there was no compensation to write this review. I personally use every product I test.

Perfectly designed & intended for bicyclists, September 23, 2014

Really nice! This is exactly what I was expecting; perhaps even better.
First, you really need to read the item’s description to understand what type of backpack this is before you buy: Cycling/Biking.
If you are an avid cyclist, then you obviously recognize it’s intent and you will be making a great choice! If you are a casual half-day hiker – an OK choice. If you are a camping backpacker or student (with a lot of text books)… buy something else; like a heavy-duty hiking/camping backpack – really.
This backpack is lightweight and marketed specifically for cyclists, and is designed to house a bladder so you can hydrate (drink water) as you continue (uninterrupted) on your bicycle trek. There is a hidden see-thru sleeve which opens (via Velcro) to expose an added mid-rib stabilizing support which buckles around your stomach so the backpack will stay-put and keep tight to your body while actively peddling. It is narrow by design, yet expands (in depth – similar to a suitcase) by unzipping the outside perimeter. There is another small pocket at the very bottom of the bag that unzips to reveal yet another bicycling-minded amenity – a cargo net for your bicycle helmet! It clips at the top of the bag and holds your helmet in place, papoose-style… Very cool design.
At this point, I’m not planning on using a water bladder (yet); so as it is, I can easily fit my camera-bag in the main compartment, leaving plenty of room (for a lunch, energy bars, a swimsuit, maybe a small beach towel, etc.) to spare.
I plan on really “breaking it in” when I rent a bike while vacationing in Hawaii.
It seems that some of the customers who are unhappy with this item, bought it without realizing it’s primary purpose – biking. So, do not buy this for school and laptops; that’s not what it’s for… Kind of like that Esurance commercial, “That’s not how it works; that’s not how any of this works…”

Much smaller than advertised, June 6, 2014

I’m not sure how in the world they are calling this a 20L pack. The inside capacity is more like 10L. Maybe they are getting away with adding capacity via the clips? Or maybe they are just straight up lying about the capacity in hopes that most people don’t really know what 20L looks like? I have no idea, but I DO have an actual 20L pack from Osprey (a high quality, trusted pack maker) and this knock-off pack is literally half the size. I wish I had taken a picture to show the size difference, but I was so taken back by the tiny size that I returned the bag immediately.

This is not a good hiking pack. If you are looking to use the pack for hiking, the most you will get out of it is a hydration pack. Even the hydration pocket is small, it looks like it will fit a 1-2L hydration pack, but nothing bigger than that. You could probably fit a few protein bars or snacks in this thing, along with a very light sweater, and that’s it! I wouldn’t trust this bag for more than a short hike. For comparison’s sake, in my 20L Osprey I can fit a 3L hydration pack, plus two extra 1-L water bottles, a sleeping bag, 2-3 days of food, first aid kit, complete change of clothes, rain jacket, camera, etc. I just don’t want people to continue getting ripped off. $40 for what amounts to a 10L capacity hydration pack of poor quality (extremely thin materials and straps) is not a good deal. Look elsewhere – you can get much better for your money.

I really like this little pack., May 29, 2015

I own a few riding back packs from companies like High Sierra, Camelback, Local Lions, and what not. I use them for commuting, mountain biking, road biking, and just walking around. This one I bought for some commuting but mostly for road biking longer distances (50+ miles/ride). I know I’m supposed to only wear a jersey and squeeze a minimal amount of junk into that and hope for the best but screw that. I like to take a back pack wherever I go. This one is great. The materials are fine for the light loads and the orange one I got helps stand out on the road. There are three individual zipper pockets and no real external pockets except a pouch on one of the shoulder straps. This pack has a waist strap but I don’t really use it on the road. Maybe for mountain biking? I don’t think it’s water proof and it does not come with a rain cover. It does however come with an integrated helmet net that works great for carrying your rain jacket for quick access. It also acts to greatly increase your carrying capacity for shedding extra layers during the cooler months that see cold mornings and comfortable afternoons. this pack is hydration bladder read with both left and right shoulder access for your drinking tube though the bladder is not included. I would say that for the money this is a very nice little pack that I am sure will last me for years.

Update, 6-12-2015: Still really like this little pack but it is not waterproof for sure. Commuted 6 miles in the rain with prevalent road spray and the interior of the pack was damp to the touch as well as the pack contents.
