   I was looking for a shorter Stem for my road bike and didn’t want to spend a fortune on some of the very high end models. Some people care tremendously about small differences in weight, but the reality is that I can make more of an impact by skipping Pizza/Beer than I can by shaving off a few ounces off of the equipment weight! I can’t speak to high end riders, but I ride about 2,000 miles per year on a road bike, but do not do time trials/races and this product has been excellent for what I needed it for. Good quality, good price.
