Surprisingly Good Quality With Some Constructive Criticisms,
Okay, first off, I want to say that the price is right, and you always have to remember that in this life, you get what you pay for. Sometimes you get a little more than you pay for and other times you get cheated. Stated in lyrical terms. as Mark Knopfler sang in a great Dire Straits tune, “…Sometimes you’re the windshield, sometimes you’re the bug…”
lol
To further extend the metaphor, in this case, I am TOTALLY the windshield. Okay, seriously now, this is a case that, in my honest opinion, is absolutely, unequivocally worth the money they are charging for it and then some, to be frank. But in the end, you have to remember that this bag, with shipping, is just over ten bucks! So this is not the bag you want to buy if you are looking for a very high end notch product, nor should it be. But I have to tell you that other than a few niggles, its damned close to high end. It is, in my estimation, more than worth the price, as I already stated. It is well made, seems sturdy enough (though I just got it today). It installed both on and off of my bike very fast, and sits on the handlebar and post quite sturdily and securely.
Now I was a little worried because I have two bikes, but one of them is a Scott Foil 30, a bike I just purchased who’s MSRP is just under $4K. My bike is a racing bike, beautifully made, and constructed of all carbon fiber. So needless to say, I knew I was taking my chances with a cheap $10.00 case, and was more than prepared to eat it if I didn’t like the case. the problem is that of all the more expensive cases I looked at online and in bike shops, NOTHING came close to what I was looking for except for this one with regard to functionality. So, I figured, “What the hell? If the case is crap, I’ll smile and just take one for the team.”
Well it’s actually a nice case. It may or may not end up working out for my needs in the long run, but I decided to review it not based on my rather fastidious needs and its inherent shortcomings, but instead to give it a score reflecting the case’s value as I estimate it AND give some constructive criticisms for how it could be better. But, and this is very important, I am NOT going to ding the score for the review and am giving it the full five stars based on its excellent value. The bag is plenty spacious for things like an external charger for your phone, wallet, keys, and other small amenities. It is actually a very nice case with a great deal more than “ten dollar” construction. Honestly, for what I paid, I was expecting a cheap piece of crap and was fully prepared not to complain if that’s what I got, because…well, that’s what I paid. Not so. This appears quite sturdy and it is a pleasing case to look at. The phone can be operated in the waterproof case, but remember that there is a bulky, protective, albeit clear rubber/plastic shield. So swiping can be just a little clumsy, but not too bad, and easy to get used to. I figured out that swiping on my phone with lighter pressure helped a lot.
A few caveats:
1. Don’t expect the normal Amazon fast shipping if you are in the US, as I am. This is coming from China, so make sure you remember that with customs, and coming just about twelve thousand miles, give or take, it can take a while. Nothing they can do about that, particularly given that they charged me about 65 cents for shipping and the item cost was $9.99. Not for anything, but they are very clear that shipping will take a while, and I actually got mine in just TEN days from ordering, which is a lot quicker than I expected, but be prepared that the shipping “estimate” when I ordered it was over a month. So if it takes a month, then it takes a month. You have been warned, BUT as I said it took a mere ten days to get to me.
2. It is surprisingly well made and seems quite sturdy. I was able to get my phone, a Samsung Note 2, into the case even with the Otter rubber protective case on it, but it absolutely was tough and quite a squeeze. But here again, I can’t take off points for this as it would be irresponsible in my review. Why? Well, because the description tells you that it fits the Note 2 and Note 3 WITHOUT a case. So if you are looking for an easy, comfy fit, and not interested in squeezing the phone + rubber case in, then this isn’t great. Yes, it will fit, but very tightly and you will have to work it in. Also, I have the Otter case, but I ONLY use the thick, rubber skin! So if you are using more of the Otter case than I am, it may not fit at all. be warned.
3. If you spent a small fortune on your bike like I did, and have a beautiful group-set, majestic handlebars, and a gorgeous bike, you may not want to put a case like this on it, because many cyclists would consider this an eye-sore on a really nice bike. Kind of like putting a $200.00 front vinyl bra on the bumper of a brand new Z06 Corvette. I actually think it looks kind of cool in its own way…

Pretty Good!,
Pros:
Good price
Well Constructed and looks great
Double Zippers
Fits larger phones (may not if you have otterbox or thick case however)
Attaches to bike easy and securely
Enough room for wallet and keys
Cons:
Little larger than I hoped so it sits up kind of high
If you unzip it to access your phone, your other things may fall out. There needs to be a 2nd inner flap to hold in the stuff behind the phone.
