Really excited to use this!, May 10, 2016

This review is from: WACOOL 2Liter (70oz) / 3Liter (100oz) Running Cycling Hiking BPA Free Hydration Pack Bladder, Leakproof Water Reservoir, FDA Approved.
I have never owned a water pack before, so I don’t have anything to compare this to. However, I really started getting tired of carrying 3-4 bottles of water in my purse or diaper bag because they take up so much space and also because sometimes it wasn’t enough. The water bladder has proven to be a very useful purchase. I am always taking my children to the beach or to other outdoor activities and the water bladder holds just as much water, while taking up less space in any of my bags. I no longer need those big, bulk water bottles. The bladder easily fits into my bag and the diaper bag, with room for an extra water bottle to refil it if need be. It was very easy to put together. You just screw the bottom of the hose into the slot, then open the large area where you add the water and take the foam out. That’s it! The home to add water is large and makes it very easy to fill up. The lid is easy to screw on and off but does not leak. The only thing I had trouble with was getting the water to actually come out of the valve, but once I checked the Amazon picture, I figured it out. You just pull on the blue part that you actually suck out of and then you can drink. I would def recommend to keep it upright when opened though. Water will come pouring out if you let the hose drop! Overall, I am very satisfied with this purchase and it will be very useful this summer!

I received this product for free in exchange for a fair and honest review.

    Excellent hydration bladder…, March 16, 2016

Excellent hydration bladder… have had a chance to use it a couple of times, and it’s great.

    Pros:
    – Light weight, but actual bag material is quite sturdy and bag is well made with no leaks
    – Hose disconnects easily from bag making cleaning easier
    – On/Off switch (push / pull) ensures that the mouthpiece doesn’t leak when not drinking
    – Bite valve works well and has decent flow
    – Wide opening allows for even large ice cubes to be added without problems
    – Insulation on the hose is a nice bonus (though it doesn’t fit all that well through the clip on my small Kelty bag)

    Cons:
    – Because the bag is lightweight (or at least lighter in weight than my usual Kelty Source hydration bag), it’s not at all rigid, so does tend to slide down into my pack at times. Not a major issue.

Good for the $, prefer a bite valve though., February 24, 2016

    Verified Purchase(What’s this?)
This review is from: WACOOL 2Liter (70oz) / 3Liter (100oz) Running Cycling Hiking BPA Free Hydration Pack Bladder, Leakproof Water Reservoir, FDA Approved.
This is a decent hydration pack for the money. I have both this one and the Outdoor Products 2L reservoir. Once I figured out how to get the Outdoor Products bite valve working (mine required a poke with an exacto knife), I vastly preferred both the bite valve and the hose-to-pack attachment of the Outdoor Products reservoir, although these are probably just personal preferences. The WACOOL hose attaches to the pack by screwing on, which requires the hole hose to rotate while you’re screwing it in. The Outdoor Products hose just has a simple…push..(not sure what to call it?) attachment that I don’t have to fiddle as much with.

I prefer a bite valve because it won’t leak all over the place if I drink and then take the hose out of my mouth. With this product’s pull-to-open mouth piece, there is the potential for leaks if you forget to push-to-close.
