Just because it says it’s a camera bag for your bike, don’t think you are limited with its’ usage. The bag is great for everything from carrying your personal items, phone, wallet, lunch, you name it. The bag is padded and roomy yet not over bearing. The hook up is easy and extremely secure. I’m a big fan of the “clip-on / clip-off” set up. You can easily and quickly remove the bag when you have to leave the bike to go into a store or your next class on the campus.

I am a daily commuter and weekend long rider on a Trek F series bike with the straight handle bar. This bag does not get in the way nor does it cause the handlebars to pull. I can ride hands-free without a wobble. The extra exterior pockets and the rain cover are added features that you really need if you are a true commuter. I’ve ridden bikes for over 40 years now and have had all sorts of bags on them. This, by far, is the best handlebar bag out there in my opinion.

A great biking camera bag!, July 3, 2013

This bag is well thought out for a biking camera bag. It’s deep enough to hold my Nikon with a tele lens and the mounting system is secure enough to handle the weight without slipping.

It is a little snug between my road bike handlebars but is doesn’t restrict your brake movement. I even keep my iPhone in the map holder running my biking app and can control it through the clear vinyl.

Loved it until it broke and could no longer perform its main purpose, November 11, 2014

I loved this bag for the first few hundred miles of my east coast bicycle tour. I put all of my valuables in in – Nikon D3200, phone, wallet, and I was even able to fit my full sized iPad vertically in the front of the bag. When I had to leave my bike I would lock it up and simply grab the bag, clip the shoulder strap on, throw it over my shoulder and walk away.

    CONS
The internal frame (rigid corrugated plastic) broke apart after the first few hundred miles, this caused the bag to slouch forward and prevented me from safely opening the bag while it was attached to the handlebars. When it was slouching I also couldn’t read the map or directions in the clear window. I thought I might have over loaded the bag but I was actually several pounds UNDER the weight limit listed by Ibera for this bag. I was very disappointed that I had to buy a basket to put this handlebar bag in for the remaining 2000+ miles of the tour.

The velcro closure at the end of the clear window isn’t long enough to fit an 8.5″ piece of paper, I had to add some more velcro so that I could close the window and prevent everything from falling out.

A pen holder would have been nice too.

With less weight it probably would have survived.
With a perfectly smooth riding surface (no bumps or curbs) it probably would have survived.
I would not recommend this for long distance bike touring unless you plan to only put a few pounds in it.
