Great Bag and Quality Bladder and Tube, July 26, 2015

This is a nice run-pack that happens to also have a hydration bladder. Even if you don’t run, bike, hike, walk across desserts, camp, hunt, fish, or attend the annual Burning Man, these are still useful for hot days outside behind a mower or in the garage.

The bladder is a sealed, plastic pouch with a heavy-gauge tubing and a cap for filling. Two recommendations: First, wash the bladder several times before use. Otherwise your water will taste like plastic (not very refreshing). Second, when done, empty the contents and let dry before putting the cap back on.

Once you fill the bladder, just slide it into the largest pocket and feed the water tube up through the shoulder straps (you can choose which side you prefer). The bladder has two eyelets and inside the pocket are two hooks that go through them. This will keep the bladder securely held and prevent it from bunching down as water-weight is removed.

Once all that is done, you still have additional pockets to store other items to keep your hands free. This pack is a half-size backpack, so phones, headphones, wallet, cash, etc all fit quite easily. Including the pocket for the bladder, there are three zipper pockets. The webbing across the back can be adjusted to allow for additional loads. You can also use the clips to secure hats (non-fitted).

In all – great pack with hydration. My last pack was smaller and not constructed as well. Also, the bite tip was looser. Remember when I said to dry it out? Yeah, ants can find water. I pulled my old one out of a kitchen cabinet (the bladder was clear). I had about 500 or so dead ant bodies in the tube. Tasty! The vendor provided assistance with this purchase for evaluation. I received the ACU Camo and it looks good.

I love hydration backpack especially when I go on short hikes, September 9, 2015

This review is from: G4Free hydration pack Sports runner Hydration Backpack With Bladder (19.68″x 8.26″x 4.72″)
I love hydration backpack especially when I go on short hikes. They are convenient to use. I have a couple of them that I use alternatively, which means the ones I find immediately, and here are my thoughts about this bag:

    • This hydration backpack is very well made to start with. The material is good quality and I love the color.
    • Hydration bladder in included with the backpack. I washed the hydration bladder a couple of times before use. I did not see any leak in the bladder. I also tried the hydration bladders of same capacity and they fit the bag without any problem.
    • It is a small backpack and there is not much space left in the backpack after inserting the hydration bladder. So this backpack can be used for small trips in my opinion.
    • The bladder can be removed and it can be used as a regular backpack too.

    Overall opinion- love it.

Product received at discounted rate in exchange of honest and unbiased opinion.

The 3 liter capacity bladder was perfect for my 8 hour hike up Mount Elbert, August 17, 2015

    Verified Purchase(What’s this?)
This review is from: G4Free hydration pack Sports runner Hydration Backpack With Bladder (19.68″x 8.26″x 4.72″)
I am very impressed with the quality of this pack for the price. After a couple weeks of researching generic hydration packs online, I finally landed on the G4Free hydration pack.

I took this pack on a week long hiking trip through the Colorado mountains, and this pack served me well. The 3 liter capacity bladder was perfect for my 8 hour hike up Mount Elbert. The multiple storage pockets allowed plenty of space to store snacks, extra water, tools, and my rain poncho, but while still allowing a nice compact and lightweight pack. The bungees and adjustable straps are great for quickly accessing and securing items on the go.

The bladder also works well. There are hooks in the pack that secure the top of the bladder to keep it from folding over at low capacity. The screw top lid is large enough to allow the badder to easily be filled, and I haven’t had any problems with leaking. The bite valve on the water tube took me a while to figure out, but it works well and keeps water sealed in.

The pack held up well on the trip, and I am very happy with this purchase. I would recommend to anybody looking fro an affordable hydration pack.
