WINDOUT is a high polymer polyester coating; it is both water-repellent and wind proof. It also can get the water out easily. WINDOUT coating is very light itself, but once it connects with other special warm materials, it will be very warm. It is used to make some of SOBIKE’s jerseys, pants and accessories.

    These pants are amazing. I live in Central Wisconsin and commute to work by bicycle in the winter at least a couple times a week if not more. The coldest temp I have been riding in so far is -9 (not counting any windchill). We had a week or more of single digit temps. In low temps I wear a pair of insulated riding tights under them and that has been perfectly comfortable. You don’t ride in the winter expecting to be toasty warm but you don’t want to freeze either. These pants are perfect. Lately it has been in the 20’s and I wear these pants with just cycling shorts underneath, and I haven’t thought about my legs, meaning they aren’t in pain. In October before winter hit, I also bought a pair of Bontrager winter pants for $129. I only wore those once because they weren’t nearly as comfortable nor as warm as these. Sobike NENK seriously exceeded my expectations for the price. I thought they would be my back-up pants for the Bontragers but nope, they are my only winter riding pants. The other pair hasn’t left the drawer since I got to work with rosy red stinging thighs when it was only 11 degrees out. I couldn’t be happier.
