Prestaflator Mini™ – Air Compressor Presta Bicycle Inflation Tool
@ Prestaflator Mini Bicycle Tire Inflator
Prestacycle introduces the new Prestaflator Mini. A new tool for Bicycle tire inflation designed for quick and easy one-handed inflation of bicycle tires.
The only one-handed inflator
The Prestaflator Mini is held in one hand while you push it onto the Presta valve – Inflate – and then pull it off. This leaves your other hand free to hold the bike! At no time do you need two hands for installation or operation. Prestacycle’s Quick-Click2TM Presta head provides a good seal, yet is gentle on tire valves – including tubeless and removable valve core products.
Delivers pre-set pressure
Dial-in the pressure you want using the Regulator on your Air Compressor. There’s no guesswork and no over-filling when the Regulator pressure is set to your desired Tire pressure. You’ll hear the air flowing into your tire for a few seconds, and when you don’t hear it anymore – you’re done. The tire is at the exact pressure you pre-set
- Truly one-handed. Push-on, Inflate, Pull-off with one hand. Hold you bike with the other hand.
- Delivers pre-set pressure – dial-in pressure setting on your compressor.
- Cycling Specific flow valve for gentle inflation or fast seating tubeless tires.
- Quick-Click2™ Presta head provides a good seal, yet is gentle on tire valves – including tubeless and removable valve core products.
- Shop grade rugged tool – nothing to break when dropped.

New to all this but it appears there is no problem inflating a Presta tube by using a Presta/Schrader valve adapter if no Presta head pump is available. The problem is taking the pressure because the gauge has to press down onto the valve needle enough to release the pressure onto the gauge, and with the adapter I am looking at, the Presta needle ( screwed out of course) is too far down to be depressed by the Schrader gauge. If this is a problem perhaps a Presta/Schrader adapter can be ground or cut down lower so that the Schrader gauge would work? I would think that the rim of the adapter would have to be even and smooth to make a seal with the gauge. Guess I will have to try it. I have no idea how a dedicated Presta gauge works, that is how it makes a seal and presses down the needle. With a Schrader valve and gauge it is fairly obvious.
Thanks for the video. I did the exact same thing today and it worked great. Now I can fill up either type valve with one pressure gauge and it cost me about $15 dollars for the hose clamp and replacement hose. NICE WORK!!!
What I don't like is the sales maneuvering that is being done to push the Presta on unsuspecting customers! Try to use any standard air pressure gauge or put a stop leak fluid past the Presta valve. For practical purposes a Schrader is the best way to go. For those who want to get into Presta they can choose it.
Very nice job. I was just quoted over $120 for a "professional" tire inflator with dual Schrader/Presto valve (Model is Park INF-1) from my local bike shop. I would guess your version is a lot cheaper.
One can buy a gauge already made for a presta valve. Or go to your local WalMart and Valve Adapter 'Presta to Schrader' and just screw it on there, and use a normal psi gauge etc, etc. Wow, quite a bit of work just for single use tool. It would be easier for most to just pull the tube, tire, and inner rubber, and drill the hole bigger to take a schrader tube.
All this to put air in my wife's tires? I guess I wasn't paying attention when she was picking out a bike.
Update, I like you're idea.
Oh I'm sorry, I didn't finish watching the rest of the video, oh yeah,I see what you did, VERY VERY GOOD, YOU KNOW I WOULD HAVE NEVER THOUGHT OF THAT, GREAT IDEA!
But it looks like you did a good job however.
