We are using this with 26 x 1.95 off-road bicycle tires with a quick-release axle.

Product-gushing not intended, we’re not having any problems whatsoever with this trainer. Setup is easy. Includes a quick-release axle which we did not need.

The biggest complaint with many of the trainers sold here at Amazon is the noise factor. The idle wheel on this trainer against the kind of tires we’re using makes no more noise than riding the bike on the street.

Economically priced in comparison to other trainers.

Just got this today. When I opened it up and didn’t quite understand the instructions so I searched the Internet for a video. I found one for this exact model. Watched it and was disappointed because it says you need a bike with a rear wheel quick release. NOT TRUE! Then I read some of the one star reviews which state they returned it because of this, I was very sad. I didn’t want to have to return it and wait for another one. I decided to try to put it together anyway to see if it works without the quick release, so far it does. I am a 250 pound woman and I’ve been on it twice for about 10 minutes total and so far no problems. It’s also not loud like a chainsaw, that is a total exaggeration. It sounds like the normal gears of a bike to me. I’m watching TV while I’m using it and I can still hear my TV while writing it. I will be riding it quite a bit in the next couple of months due to knee surgery (tore the ACL in both knees while rollerblading ‘) I can’t ride my bike on the street with the unpredictability of events that it might cause. I will update this review in case the excessive use of it without the quick release breaks it. It seems to fit just fine and snuggly on the bolts. Very tight not wobbly or anything. The resistance is fine too. When I first had it connected it was too tight and I had to release it a little. It’s as simple as tightening the back adjuster knob.

This trainer does just what it’s supposed to do. It took about 5 minutes to get my bike set up on it and start spinning. It was a nice bonus that it came with a riser. I was concerned about it being too noisy, based on comments others had made in their reviews, but It’s really not bad at all. It makes a bit of a humming sound, but it’s not loud enough to prevent me from hearing my TV while I spin. I even turn on a fan to keep me cool while I ride and I still don’t have a problem hearing. Come to think of it, the fan is probably louder than the bike trainer. I ride for general fitness and I get a good workout with plenty of resistance. I would have no problem recommending this product to others.
