Summary: Value-oriented trunk bag with stowable panniers is about what you would expect for the price.

I used to commute on a bike to work occasionally, so it was nice having a trunk bag to put your lunch, clothes, etc in. I have a Nashbar “Rack Trunk” which is about 20 bucks and is pretty bulletproof in terms of construction and getting the details right. Panniers, on the other hand, tend to be quite pricey, so I was intrigued to see what you get at this price point. Short answer – stowable and small panniers which aren’t secured from swinging around, and probably are not going to hold up to frequent use.

This offers more capacity than the Nashbar, but the materials and construction aren’t quite in the same ballpark as the less expensive Nashbar. For example, there’s a pocket at the very back – but no zipper or cinch. My experience is that anything that isn’t secured WILL get lost as soon as you hit a few bumps in the road.

Then the attachment of the pannier to the trunk is a single seam – no bar tacking as far as I can tell, and no bungee on the bottom to prevent swinging. Speaking of bungees, the bungee on the top is super wimpy – you’re not securing a jacket with this thing.

I’d say this bag is a decent option for an occasional user who really needs extra capacity now and then…

Rear Bicycle Bag, in Blue, from “ANYGET”, August 10, 2015

This is a nice capacity rear bag. I have it in Blue, and in person the color is more of an attractive Federal Blue than the crayon-colored Amazon photo.
Workmanship, stitching and fabric are all fine.
There are reflective strips on all 3 sides.
There’s a velcro carry handle on the back (you can tuck a light windbreaker under it, but I’d add an additional strap to secure it).

The rear pocket is open with an elastic top, and I agree that’s not useful. I’d suggest adding a zipper closure in future versions of this bag.

There’s a D ring on the rear which is useful for attaching a (detachable) clip-on battery tail light and/or reflector, etc (not included).

This bag is a pretty conventional design, with no surprises.

There are a zillion very similar bags out there to choose from, and each has their pro’s and con’s.
This bag does not have as secure an attachment system of straps as I’d like.
On the other hand overall capacity size, and workmanship, is good.

Take a good look at the Spec’s and think about what your own pattern of use is (or will be).

Sample sent for testing and impartial consumer review. I do like this bag, but with the reservations above.

“ANYGET” also offers a front tube bag set that I like, with matching fabric and design.

I hope this is helpful to my fellow riders as you comparison shop online. Happy trails, everybody.

This bike rack bag is full of features. Sizewise, it’s just about right and will fit most racks perfectly. It’s secured to your rack by two velcro straps that opens on alternate sides. Apart from that, it has a hand strap and a shoulder strap so you can carry it when you remove it from your bike. I tend to leave my rack bag on the rack during most rides but I always leave them unzipped and open so people can see there’s nothing in them. It also comes with a rain cover.

The main compartment is quite spacious. The side bags actually hold panniers that cannot be removed so their capacity is quite small. There are extra outside compartments on the top flap and the back. The sides and backs have reflective strips.

The only thing I would be wary of is the security of the thin straps that hold the bag to the rack. I think this would only be a problem if heavy items are held in the bag which is rare for me and a bungee cord could help secure it when the panniers are not in use. Overall, the bag is quite functional for light usage and the price is quite good. I would recommend it.
