Five-Minute Impression,
(1) Because of all the reviews warning to order a size up, I got a 44, though I’m normally a 43 (in a Sidi). I would have done well enough ordering my true size. While the size up does not leave me swimming, the fit is not ideal — there’s more movement than I’d like. Check, if you have prime, if you can do a free return/exchange.
(2) Again, I speak as a road rider, so perhaps this is not so uncommon with off-road shoes, but these are rather hot, temperature-wise. That probably makes sense if you’re doing cross events, but if you’re not going to be biking (or clambering) through mud, these might not be the best choice for summer.
