This tool is small, compact, lightweight, and includes many useful tools. I’ve found myself keeping it around during my recent bike build because it’s easier to use this than sifting through all my loose allen wrenches. Also the chain tool worked great.

I already own Topeak’s Mini-20 Pro, and I picked the Mini-18 Plus up to take along with my commuter bike.Like the Mini-20 Pro, the Mini-18 Plus is all-metal in construction, and its the size when folded flat is very compact. All of the tool tips are high quality and fit excellent in their respective fasteners. The chain tool detaches from the main body for easier usage, and the pin screw tool is precise and strong. It also comes with a small neoprene carrying bag so it won’t bounce around in your pack. Sure, the Mini-20 Pro adds a small T10 tip and a couple more spoke wrenches for Mavic/Shimano spokes, but if your bike doesn’t have those particular items to begin with, why carry tools that you’ll never use? Other than that (and about $8) there’s no major difference between the Min-18 Plus and the Mini-20, so if you don’t need those extras you will be very satisfied with the Mini-18 Plus.

I bought several of these. One is for a friend who trains annual for races. She loves its compactness and all the tools on it. My husband keeps his in his car as a compact tool kit. My cousins and I keep ours with our bikes for quick fixes. I seem to use mine mostly for seat and handle bar adjustments for my kids’ bikes, as they seem to grow each time they get back in the saddle. The carrying case is great, too, and it is really well made.

  4. That little hex key from the middle of the chain breaker is for tightening or losening of the tool's axels in order to increase or decrease the resistance of opening the tools.
