Bicycle Inflation

The Schwinn EZ Connect Floor Pump makes it easier to inflate bike tires thanks to three EZ Adaptors that fit Schrader and Presta tire valves. For full review and shopping info►http://ttpm.com/p/12425/pacific-cycle/schwinn-ez-connect-bike-pump/?ref=yt

Product Info:
With the Schwinn EZ Connect Floor Pump, bike riders have an easy way to inflate their bike tires. The pump comes with three EZ Adaptors that fit Schrader and Presta valves. Just remove the valve cap from your bike tire, and screw on an EZ Adaptor. Press the EZ Connect pump head onto the EZ Adaptor until you hear a click. Then pump the tire to the desired air pressure. The easy-to-read Air Zone gauge allows you to inflate up to 120 psi and prevents over- and under-inflation. Press the red trigger on the pump head to disconnect from the EZ Adaptor, and then you can either leave the EZ Adaptor on the tire’s valve or unscrew it.

For the money, this is a good product. I had one that lasted 8 years with gentle use and just bought my second. The new version is a bit more flimsy, but I am not displeased. Don’t use it over 60 psi if you want it to last. Oil the cylinder rod a few times a year.

Flimsy Foot Pump, February 13, 2012

I bought one, and it bent and broke the first day. I returned it and received a second. This time, if I was careful, I could use the pump effectively. Unfortunately, the seal started leaking at 60 psi, and it seemed in constant danger of falling apart.

Even if one was able to keep it functioning, which I doubt, I still believe it would be a one star pump. The total stroke on the pump is so short and inefficient, it takes forever to fill any object. It is simply a poor design.
