    thicker than most of your socks. If you are using them for cycling (which i do), you will need to loosen your shoes or at least be aware of the thickness. Besides that, these socks are great for cold weather anything. Riding, sitting at home, walking around in sneakers. I love them. VERY cushioned because of the thickness.

    Sure, that may sound like hyperbole, but I really love these socks. The wool is nice and dense to give great cushion, but the temperature never feels too hot. I have several pairs I use for biking, got these to wear with street clothes. It also should be noted that wool really does not get smelly.

    I wear these socks in temps from 55F down to 30F. With toe warmers on my shoes, my feet stay warm from about 45 to 55F. Below, 45F, I wear these with my Lake winter cycling shoes and my feet stay warm down to about 30F. Below 30, I wear a pair of heated socks that I bought at The Warming Store. These are durable and comfortable and keep your feet warm and dry.
