    This is a sturdy and functional bike rack. It is easy to assemble, and is mostly well designed. It has two problems: 1) the cradles that the bikes rest in are small and no adjustable and do not well accommodate bikes with a top tube of unusual shape or diameter. Such bikes do not rest a securely on the rack, and 2) the hole in the bottom of the rack that slides into the hitch is smaller than a standard hitch pin, which means you either need to have the hole drilled larger, or you need to use the bolt with locking nut supplied with the rack. Therefore, you have to carry two wrenches with you wherever you go to be able to remove or mount the rack, and you need to crouch in an awkward position or lay on the ground to install and remove the bolt. Having the rack accommodate a standard hitch pin would be SO much easier.
    By and large a very good product. Would be five stars if the described shortcomings were rectified.

    Pretty good bike rack for the price. You will need a hitch extension for a Jeep Wrangler. I use a Heininger extender. Even with the extender the rack won’t tip down far enough to allow the rear door to open. However, I’m not knocking this rack any stars for that. I knew before I bought the rack I would need an extender. The reason I’m only giving it 4 stars is that the whole thing wobbles a bit. I’m not sure I would trust it loaded down with 4 heavy bikes while going down a bumpy road.
