Men Die Young, Women Don't Care: How to Improve Men's Health
@ Men die younger than women yet even men do not seem to be alarmed by this. While we encourage women to continue to improve their health, we desperately need men to get into the medical “game”. Men are notorious for not going to the doctors unless there is a blood spurting reason. Men Die Young, Women Don’t Care is intended to be used as a tool to encourage and enable men to get checked before it is too late. Written by a sports medicine doctor, it may be just the method to get guys to get that check up and become lean and fit. With real life examples, written in non threatening way, this book should be given to all men you care about. Real men should go to the doctors and this may just be the trick to getting them to show their “tender underbellies”.

If people cared about men, the way they do about women, the advert I talk about in this video would not exist.

Enjoy.

Sensitive subject matter for middle aged guys presented in a casual and entertaining format that flows well. Brings to forefront topics that guys just don’t want to talk about or even think about as we age. The humor does temper some of the awkward issues and sheds light on the benefits of taking a proactive approach to personal health. The concept of a doc being a “guy-ologists” or a “guy who takes care of guys who don’t take care of themselves” helps see a doc as someone you should see before you really need their help, i.e. after a fall or other medical issue.

As a younger brother of the author and someone battling my own weight and medical issues, it helps keep me motivated in my own journey to better health. Overall, I think most men and women would benefit from this easy read and the information presented.

This Book was written for men, but women should read it too, I as a woman find myself agreeing with a lot of what was written in this book,Men are not the only one who put off going to the doctor’s, women do it too all the time, one of our biggest excuses ” I’ll go when I have the time”this book shows us that we all need to take our health more seriously.
It’s not JUST another boring Health book,it’s funny, casual and very informative doesn’t even feel like your reading a health book, every Man and Woman should read this book.

  3. How about this "the primary victims of cervical cancer are men and boys because their mothers, wives, sisters and daughters die from it, making the men and boys sad"

  4. Dude! Seriously! You need to give sane people a fucking warning before dropping 02:15 on us! I cannot fucking believe someone would have the fucking GALL to publish such ridiculous anti-male pro-female bullshit. They went too far with that one. Who reads this Fuckulus rag anyway?

  5. You know what would be hilarious? If Tampax and Always put out ads saying that they were going to double the prices of tampons and sanitary napkins and all the extra money they make will go toward testicular/prostate cancer research. The outrage of PMSing feminists would be gold.

  6. So, besides the men that actually get breast cancer, men suffer from breast cancer too when their loved ones get it. But I wonder if there was an ad that said "men suffer from breast cancer, too," it wouldn't be taken to as kindly.

  7. This is how it went down at the meeting when brainstorming about ideas to get 52% of the population to donate to a mens issue.

Gazza- Hey mate, we're only getting half the donations we could be .
    Terry- Yeah i know mate.
Gazza- Any ideas on how we can get women to donate? They don't seem to care about the issue
Terry- Ahhh…. How about we just make it all about them, and how THEY are victims of Prostate Cancer.
Gazza- You know what? You're promoted. They will be so worried about Prostate Cancer now they wont even notice that they are giving to a Mens cause.

I think its a great ad for men. Genius really, playing them at their own game. Haha
