OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOPPPPPPPPPPSSS!,
The first thing you have to do is remove all the components from the packaging–something it took me five minutes to do without harming either myself or the product. I don’t know if all of these are delivered with such “unfriendly” packaging, but if so a good place to start would be to make it easier to unpack. Once you get it opened and inventory the parts, you find that there are no written instructions. There are pictures and arrows pointing to various places, but instead of using them I simply looked at the components supplied and figured out how to put them together. After getting the product unpacked and understanding the mechanics, you have to remove the perfectly good protection case you’ve already purchased and replace it with the rather stiff rubber sleeve provided with the mount. I call it stiff because unlike the stylish LUVVITT protective case I currently use, the molded black rubber contact points of this TIGRA case are not designed properly to allow you to use the protected buttons easily. Added to this problem is having to put on a flimsy plastic front cover that also has stiff plastic moldings over the operating buttons. Now the operation of your Iphone 6 is twice as difficult compared to my original (and preferred) case. It compares roughly to my wife’s Otterbox Defender–only worse. The combination of cases makes it harder to turn your iPhone on and off and also to input instructions.
Things get a little better when mounting the case holder to your handle bars. You can mount it in either portrait or landscape form and the double lock on the mount holds your phone very securely. Good design and well implemented. However, the combination of how far you have to reach to use the mounted phone combined with the difficulty of inputting instructions (because of the stiff buttons) causes the rider to take his eyes off the road, makes him unsafely shift his/her balance, and prevents him/her from operating the phone in a safe manner. In my humble opinion, listening to music while riding is an unsafe practice. Things are dangerous enough out there and having your hearing impaired by listening to music only increases the potential danger to you, other riders, walkers, and those operating motor vehicles.
As a final comment, this is a $19.95 item masquerading as a $49.95 product. It is made in China, which probably results in the poor construction I commented on, and the profit margin has to be huge. Suggestion to TIGRA: Bring out a simple mount that attaches securely to a bicycle and allows you to simply snap your Iphone 6 with existing case into the mount and remove it the same way. Less parts needed, simpler and more efficient operation, much more user friendly. Problem solved.

This is a big letdown from the previous case for the iPhone 5.,
