I purchased these lights to insure a safe ride at all times, even during the day. Where I ride, there is a lot of tree coverage, and it is difficult for drivers to see cyclists even at 1 pm with full sun.

Best lights I have gotten for any of my bikes…very easy to install and comes with batteries and all the hardware necessary to install…can take both lights off the bike in about 30 seconds if you don’t need them.

Each light has a clip on the back that inserts into the mount, making for a quick release if you want to take them off. The button to turn the lights on/off and to switch between flashing/constant/alternate (back) and hi-beam/low-beam/flashing (front) is very sensitive, so no effort is needed to choose which setting you need. You can adjust the angle of the mount so that the light sits absolutely perpendicular to/parallel with the ground.

The only negative thing worth noting would be that the whole system seems to jangle around a bit. I am glad that the thing is not super tight or not adjustable, but for the cyclist who hates the possibility of something shaking around, this is one thing to note…but since the purpose of the lights is SAFETY, this should not be a big deal. Better to have something that shakes a bit than to be hit by a car.

Fantastic “safety” light set. A bit pricey but the form and function gets the job done. Well built, solid, bright.

The rear light has 3 settings: steady, flash, strobe. It’s a very bright light, bothers me to look at them in the garage when i accidentally turn it on.

The front light has 3 setting as well: low, high, and flashing. I particularly like the front flashing setting and I always use it during the day. It’s a good way to catch someones attention, especially if you are riding in a shadowy area. man, I’ve come across a ton of riders that you couldn’t see because their bike and kit blended into the shadows or scenery, the front flash would help those riders a ton.

As I mentioned earlier “safety” light. I say that because the front light, while bright, isn’t exactly the best one to use as your primary night-time riding light. It’ll get you home in a pinch but I wouldn’t use it as my main headlight at night. So, as my review says, more of a safety light so others can see you heading towards them.

Bottom line is that the roads are filled with idiot drivers. So I like to do whatever I can to get their attention and make my presence on the road known.
